Hello, I am Kaz Nicholls, Sacred Celebrant of Avalon and a Bearer of the Flame of Avalon. I create and officiate Pagan, Civil and Alternative ceremonies to mark rites of passage and the key moments of life in a deeply spiritual way.

I was trained by the Sacred Celebrants Academy in the ancient town of Glastonbury, known to many as the magical Isle of Avalon.

You will find me volunteering at The Cottage Shop on Thursdays so call in and see me between 11am and 3pm. I am also honoured to lead the monthly Goddess Circle and monthly Meditation Circle at The Cottage Healing Centre.

At the moment the marriages I officiate at are not legally binding, although we are hopeful that this will change in the not-too-distant future. Most people who want a pagan or alternative wedding get the “legal paperwork ceremony” done and a day or two later have their meaningful wedding and heartfelt celebration with family and friends and me!

As well as handfasting’s (weddings) there are many other ceremonies that I offer.

Ceremonies:

• Handfasting (non-legal)
• Wedding & Civil Partnership Celebrations (non-legal)
• Pre-Wedding Ceremonies
  • Ring Blessing Ceremony
  • Willow Hoop Ceremony
  • Wand Ceremony with Land Shaman
  • Besom Broom Ceremony
  • Incense Blending Ceremony
  • Sacred Anointing Ceremony
• Additions to Wedding Ceremonies
  • Cake & Mead Ceremony
  • Jumping The Besom Broom Ceremony
• Renewal of Vows Ceremony
• Naming Ceremonies for Babies, Children & Adults
• Passing Over Ceremonies
• Funeral Ceremonies
• Mother To Be Ceremony
• Conscious Uncoupling Ceremony
• And of course completely tailormade ceremonies for any occasion, for example blessing a new home or blessing a new business venture.
